The idea for the Nisserikker goes all the way back to my childhood, when I, together with my very creative mother, always made sweet, fun, and beautiful things to decorate our Christmas tree with. Already as a child, I made little elves with a string in their hats so they could hang on the Christmas tree. And since the Christmas tree has a special place in our family’s Christmas, it was of course completely natural that I would make little elves to decorate the tree with. In 2026, it will be 20 years since I made the very first little Nisserikker, inspired by my creative childhood. I hope my many different Nisserikker bring joy and coziness to many homes that love Christmas as much as I do. Christmas greetings from Etly Klarborg
